Drogheda Implementation Board announce new funding scheme for community organisations

Drogheda Implementation Board are delighted to announce a new grant fund for community groups in the Drogheda - East Meath (Laytown/Bettystown) area.

The Board secured an additional €100,000 in dormant accounts funding for 2023 and are allocating all of this plus an additional €25,000 to the fund, bringing the total available to local groups for innovative projects and initiatives that respond to issues identified in the Geiran Report or actions in the Drogheda Report Implementation Plan to €125,000. To give as many groups as possible the opportunity to access this funding €50,000 has been ringfenced for small grants of €2,000 – 5,000, with a maximum grant of €20,000. The fund will open for applications next Monday, 27th February and close at 5pm on Friday 31st March.
