THE 2023 Northeast Business Awards promise to be bigger and better than ever following the advent of a new voting system that has caught the imagination of the public.
"A number of the categories were open to a public vote this year and we got an incredible response. Local firms had thousands of people voting for them and we can't wait to hail the winners at the awards ceremony in the CityNorth Hotel on November 25," Drogheda and District Chamber President Hubert Murphy stated.
Judges are also going through an interview process for other categories and the reaction to that has been wonderful too. "The aim of the awards is to celebrate the individuals, the teams, the customer care, the care for the community and the environment, the people that make business in this area really tick. There's a huge variety of entries and it will be an honour for the chamber to recognise these people on the night."
Preparations have been underway for months, with everything from a red carpet to a sparkling drinks reception as part of the evening. Live entertainment will follow a superb meal.
