Louth Volunteer Centre are managing the Fleadh Volunteer Programme on behalf of the Fleadh Executive Committee. As you might have heard the Fleadh will require at least 1,000 volunteers to ensure that it runs smoothly. These volunteers are the Fleadh frontline and are as important as any hospitality, customer service, retail and tourism staff in highlighting what a fantastic region we all live and work in, and hopefully to encourage return visits by Fleadh visitors.
The Volunteer Centre team are again organising a volunteer after-party to show their appreciation to volunteers and would love if they were able to raffle some prizes at this event, which is being held on the 20st August. We were absolutely delighted with the response to our call out for raffle prizes from Chamber members last year – Thank you!!
As was the case last year, of the 1,000 plus volunteers registered to help out at the Fleadh this year 85% live in Louth and Meath, 5% are from all over the world and the remainder from all across Ireland. All age groups are represented with the Fleadh volunteer community – over 20% are aged 15-18 and the rest of the volunteers are evenly spread across all age groups. They could be your current or future customers.
If your company would like to contribute a prize to the Volunteer Appreciation Party please get in touch with Kayleigh Mulligan, Louth Volunteer Centre at kayleigh@volunteerlouth.ie or 0860431379.
Thanks
