Jobs & Skills Fair

Do you have a position to fill? Are you in search of a new career? Do you need to upskill?

Drogheda and District Chamber, in association with M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet, is hosting a Jobs and Skills Fair at the Marcy Hotel, West Street, on Wednesday, March 26th from 10am to 1pm.

The event will focus on all aspects of recruitment, including varied job opportunities to enhancing your skills and advice on how to grow and develop your CV.

There will be a wide range of businesses on the day and the overall aim is to match employers with job seekers and deliver networking opportunities and grow career prospects.

“The Drogheda region is growing quickly and there are so many new and established businesses out there. This is a chance for those seeking employment for the first time or a new job or challenge to come along, learn and hopefully secure a new career,” Drogheda Chamber President, Naomi Tully, stated.

Drogheda and District Chamber members can register for a FREE stand and hopefully add to their workforce or provide advice to prospective employees about a new role. For job seekers or those looking to switch roles, there is no need to register, come along on the day between 10am and 1pm and hopefully meet your new employer.

“This is an opportunity for engagement and will open doors for both our members and job seekers. There are so many great businesses in this region who are looking for the right people to fill roles in their companies. This is a chance for everyone to find out more about what’s happening locally in the jobs market,” chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, added.

M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet will provide advice to businesses and those seeking employment on the topic of skills and how businesses can avail of an outstanding and cost-effective service.

Job seekers are asked to bring along their CVs and engage with the firms showcasing on the day.
