New Hampshire and Drogheda and the M1 Corridor are ready to do business

New Hampshire and Drogheda and the M1 Corridor are ready to do business! And thanks to a fabulous introduction at The Mill Enterprise Centre, the seeds of a great relationship have been firmly planted.

What is wonderful is that contacts made around the world and in particular, the UK, paves the way in making the planet a little smaller and a lot more personal.

Drogheda Chamber has formed alliances with West and North Yorkshire and Hampshire Chamber, along with the dynamic people in Lisburn, and those links are proving hugely exciting, from trade visits to contacts, that now include the state of New Hampshire.

Led by Commissioner Lucy Lange, the Business Development delegation arrived by the Boyneside to learn about a region that has so much to offer, the ideal place to live, work and play. Nikki Campbell from Louth LEO and Ronan Whitty and Peter McGrane from The Mill set the scene, expressing the importance of engagement across all stakeholders.

Next steps - introducing New Hampshire to Drogheda and vice versa.

One long standing link is already there. If you travel NW from Portsmouth NH for about two hours you hit North Conway. There you'll find a popular Irish bar called May Kelly's. May was a good Drogheda woman and her nephew was the man that founded it, Patsy McArdle from Drogheda.
