Tourism Ireland’s virtual industry event

Invitation to attend Tourism Ireland’s virtual industry event on Wednesday, 15 July

COVID-19 delivered an immediate and full stop to international tourism right across the world and the island of Ireland is no exception. Recovery will depend on many factors – not least the mindset of the overseas consumer and how this may have changed because of the COVID-19 health emergency and subsequent economic turmoil.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the changed consumer and the new marketplace, Tourism Ireland is undertaking an extensive COVID-19 programme of research in our major markets – to identify when overseas consumers will be ready to consider holidaying again and which of our markets offer us the best short-term prospects.

We want to share with you the findings of our COVID Tracker Research, carried out in our top four markets (GB, the US, Germany and France), during May and June.

You are invited to attend Tourism Ireland’s virtual industry event, on next Wednesday, 15 July.

               Date: Wednesday, 15 July, 2020
               Time: 2.00pm - 3.00pm
RSVP: Please register by Tuesday, 14 July, 2020

The insights Tourism Ireland gains from this programme of research will ensure that our new promotional plan is as tightly targeted and as powerfully motivational as it possibly can be – in order to drive a strong recovery for tourism to the island of Ireland as quickly as it is possible to realise it.

We look forward to speaking with you on Wednesday.
