As part of our Membership Spotlight feature we recently spoke to Angela Cox from YourAbility about doing business in Drogheda. Read what Angela had to say.
Q. Tell us about your business and what you do.
YourAbility was founded in 2019. My mission in this business is to help women grow faster, lead with impact, and build careers and lives that feel aligned, fulfilling, and wildly successful.
For over 25 years I worked 9-5 corporate jobs. After years in a corporate career and a personal mission to become a coach, I realized that traditional leadership models don’t always serve women. We’re told to conform, but what really unlocks our growth is authenticity. So, I created a coaching approach that helps women step into their true identity and lead with power, not burnout.
I now help women cultivate unshakable confidence, elevate their professional presence, and achieve lasting career success and visibility while designing a life rich in joy, purpose, and prosperity.
I work with clients 1:1, and by facilitating powerful training and programs for career growth
Q. What do you think has been your biggest achievement with the business?
My client’s success stories are some of the best achievements I am proud of:
"From a desire to quit to obtaining a senior role within the company"
"Moving from 5 to 7-figure business contract within 16 months"
"From lack of confidence and worry about starting a senior role in a new industry to leading this industry in the next 2 years"
Those and other stories and clients' feedback keep me empowered and focused on my business.
Another achievement is creating career visibility and career success training for women. This training will kick in on the 1st of May via Zoom.
Q. Tell us one thing people might not know about the business.
YourAbility is approaching a very exciting milestone - in collaboration with M1Skillnet, we present an impactful training for women ‘Her Career Success’ that will kick in on the 1st of May.
In this Intensive training, we'll uncover the most common mistakes high-achieving women make that keep them stuck in the background — and more importantly, how to fix them.
In a matter of weeks, women will learn how small mindset shifts can lead to tangible results and impactful leadership.
They will leave empowered taking charge of their careers by creating momentum to build on. The outcomes also include gaining respect and recognition, developing strategic thinking, and unwavering confidence in positioning themselves as an authority.

Q. What is the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice at times, is the one we give ourselves.
"Stop waiting for the right opportunity and start becoming the opportunity."
Many ambitious women approach careers and life’s challenges head-on. We're ambitious, hard-working, and full of potential, yet undervalued. Our growth is often not about gaining more skills but about being seen and recognized for the value we already bring.
This advice shifts the focus from external validation to owning your identity and power and leading from authenticity. When we see ourselves differently, others will too—and opportunities will follow.
Kind regards
Angela
