On Tuesday October 3rd, in the Fairways Hotel, Dundalk, Louth Volunteer Centre is hosting a Youth Volunteer Fair/Conference
There will be over 500 young people aged 15 to 17 years in attendance, along with their teachers.
This will be a prime opportunity to raise awareness of and involve young people in your organisation.
We are asking you to think outside the box, in terms of how you could involve young people in your organisation.
They could for example, get involved in Social Media - Tik Tok Ambassadors, design and /or create content for Facebook, Instagram, distribute leaflets about your organisation in the local area, design graphics for leaflets/flyers/T-shirts for your organisation, fundraising opportunities (to undertake either individually or in groups) clean ups/DIY/gardening projects, befriender roles.
You will need to have a volunteer role(s) active on I-Vol before the conference takes place, so young people can apply for it on or after October. 3rd.
So, don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to grow your organisation and contribute to the future of volunteering in County Louth.
Research shows that the younger we actively pursue activities to help others, the more likely it is that people will volunteer into adulthood!
