Shona McManus, President
CEO, Osborne
Shona is a highly accomplished and respected global recruitment business leader. Qualified to MBA, she commenced her professional life in the hospitality industry but it is the competitive world of recruitment that she found her niche and true passion. With 18 years experience in the Industry Shona has successfully managed, led and transformed recruitment businesses in both multinational and indigenous Irish recruitment firms, excelling in among some of the most challenging times the industry has faced.
Since Shona took over the helm of Osborne in April 2013, in the depths of recession, her vision, innovation, strong values, ability to build teams and ambitious but inclusive entrepreneurial leadership style was the driving force for Osborne to not only navigate its way through these perilous times but saw the business emerge in a very strong market position, ready for the next phase of growth.

Robert Murray, Vice President

“Robert has been working in retail financial services since 1999, when he joined Irish Permanent Finance – subsequently called Permanent tsb Finance after a merger in 2001 and now known as First Citizen Finance following a Management Buy-Out in 2012 by the Senior Management Team of Permanent tsb Finance. First Citizen Finance provides competitive finance solutions to consumers and non-consumers across the Motor, Agri, SME Equipment and Commercial Real Estate sectors in the Republic of Ireland. Robert works nationally across both the Sales and Marketing divisions of the company, based in Drogheda. Robert joined Drogheda Chamber in 2009 as a member and has been a Council member since 2017, now Vice President.“

Breanndán Casey, Secretary
Business Development Manager, The Mill
Breanndán Casey is the Business Development Manager at The Mill Enterprise Hub in Drogheda which was established to support startups and entrepreneurship in the greater Drogheda region. The original idea for The Mill emanated from Drogheda Chamber and the close co-operation has been maintained over the last five years of it’s existence. The Mill and Drogheda Chamber continue to successfully collaborate on a number of projects. The Mill’s current initiatives include the Illuminate Female programme with M1 Drogheda Chamber Skillnet, Drogheda Young Innovators school programme, and the M1 Payments Corridor plan to develop the NorthEast as a Fintech Hub. Breanndán has 20 years’ experience in economic development programmes, sales and marketing, project management, and was previously self-employed for 5 years as a business consultant.

Ken Rooney, Treasurer
Regional Director, Capitalflow Finance
Ken has over 15 years Banking experience mainly involved in commercial & property lending at a senior management level. Qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in the late 1990’s, and have worked both in practice and industry. Ken also leads a wholesale and retail business, involved in the import and distribution of household products throughout Ireland and the UK.
Ken has been a Chamber Council member since 2012 and is currently Chairman of the Finance Committee.

Jayann Walsh, Chamber Council
Marketing Executive
Jayann is a Marketing & Communications Consultant with over 10 years experience in the Communications Industry. Jayann began her career with LMFM radio working as a researcher/reporter on LMFM's flagship news and current affairs programme, The Michael Reade Show. Jayann moved to Dublin and began her role as Fundraising and Events Manager for Irish Charity, The Hope Foundation raising over. a quarter of a million euro for street children in Calcutta. Jayann then moved into the learning and development sector as Business Development Manager for Gavin Duffy & Associates. Jayan. joined Drogheda Chamber as a Council Member in June 2018.

Miriam Simon from PTO.ie is a Retail & Growth Strategist.
An accomplished Retail executive with 25 yrs experience leading Multi Million Euro Businesses, Miriam works with SME Retail and Retail providers to grow their businesses.
Miriam also mentors SME business for Enterprise Ireland, is an NED, supports and works with the Horizon2020 programme, is a member of the IOD and also a fully accredited executive coach.

Jane Kerr, Chamber Council

My passion is to help people see exercise as a positive feeling, learn to value their self worth and find a balanced lifestyle that suits the persons lifestyle in body and mind. Worked in fitness industry in Ireland,Australia, New Zealand and then set up Me Time Functional Training Jan 2017 and love the learning journey I am on

Michael Gerrard, Chamber Council

Michael has been working in the media Industry for more than 30 years. In that time Michael has worked in Radio TV and Newspapers, local and National.
Still involved in the Radio Industry, he has his own business, Michael Gerrard Media. He helps companies with their digital marketing strategy and manages their Social Media platforms on a daily basis.

Tony Campion, HR Director for the Coca-Cola International Services organization based in Southgate.
Over 25 years experience in HR with a number of multinationals, Tony joined the Chamber in June 2018 and is also a member of the M1 Skillnet steering committee.

A fellow of CIPD with over 20 years experience in leadership and Strategic HR across several business sectors including executive education, retail, public sector and medical devices.
Roslyn joined the Chamber in June 2018 and is also a member of the M1 Skillnet steering committee.

Collette Farrell, Chamber Council
Droichead Arts Centre
Collette Farrell has worked in the arts and cultural sector for the past 30 years. Starting off as an actress where she worked for various companies, she has worked in the community and outreach department in the Abbey Theatre; completed the Diploma in Theatre and Media Studies with the Abbey and taught drama in the Gaiety School of Acting for 8 years. She was General Manager of the City Arts Centre, Dublin, a multi-disciplinary arts centre in the heart of the inner city, and subsequently became Programme Manager for the Centre from 1994 to 2000. In 2002, she became Company Manager/Producer for Calipo Theatre and Picture Company, Drogheda. Films include Frankie, the award winning short film, which won the European Academy Award for Best Short in 2008 and 16 films under the Sharp Focus Project funded by the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. In 2016 Collette went back to Dublin, and spent a year as General Manager of Dublin Theatre Festival. Back in Drogheda since 2017, as Director of Droichead Arts Centre, Collette is also co-chair of Drogheda Arts Festival, a member of the Louth Creative Ireland team, as well as a Director of Drogheda Classical Music She has just completed An Advanced Certificate in Management Practice and Entrepreneurship with Ulster University.

Ronan Reilly, Chamber Council

Ronan has worked in the construction since 2007 and hold a wide range of construction experience on a national and international level.
Ronan has worked internationally with Mace, one of the world’s leading project management & construction companies. During his time with Mace he worked on many prestigious projects & worked with a wide range of blue chip such as ExxonMobil and Dubai Properties. Having spent just under 4 years working in Dubai on residential and commercial projects, Ronan then moved to the Bahamas were he spent a further 3 years as Project manager on the Bahamar resort. The project at the time was the largest privately funded development in the world at a construction value of $3.6Bn consisting of 2,200 room hotel, 100,000sq.ft casino. A complex project with and aggressive construction programme and 2,500 workers onsite.
Since returning to Ireland in 2013, Ronan joined the family business, Shannon homes, currently oversees all construction operations. In addition Ronan established Newkey homes which is a development company which has developed projects for private sector and for Government housing bodies on the east coast.
Ronan also serves as a council member with the Construction Industry Federation(CIF).
