Louth Local Community Development Committee are now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the following
Theme: Rural Infrastructure & Social Inclusion
Local Objective: Optimising Digital Connectivity
Strategic Action: Supporting Rural IT Infrastructure & Connectivity
Funding Type: Small Scale Capital
Total Budget Available: €100,000
LEADER funding can be provided for the following Connectivity Infrastructure Items subject to a maximum funding limit of €10,000 per successful proposal;
Small scale equipment, such as in-building boosters which ensure a reliable connection for end users, to allow businesses/citizens access broadband at the premises
Mobile phone repeaters in certain instances, e.g. mobile phone repeaters used to improve mobile phone coverage in a community facility
Cabling infrastructure, e.g. indoor broadband cabling
LEADER funding can also be provided for the following IT Equipment subject to a maximum funding limit of €10,000 per successful proposal;
Desks
PCs
Laptops
Monitors
Large Screens
Easy use tablets for the elderly
Maximum Grant Aid Available:
Community Groups up to a maximum of €20,000 or 75%, whichever is the lesser
Enterprises up to a maximum of €20,000 or 50%, whichever is the lesser
The minimum grant aid available is €5,000
