The 2024 Youth Connect Fest delivered a one-stop shop of the services available to young people in the Drogheda area.
Backed by a number of local organisations, from the arts to education providers, sports clubs and the Drogheda Implementation Board, the festival also proved what a great location the Laurence Shopping Centre can be in the heart of the town.
"All credit must go to the organisers for putting on such a wonderful show. The Laurence Centre is ideal for events like this and deserve recognition for their part in the day," chamber president Hubert
Murphy stated.
"These types of events, both in a community and business setting, provide a platform for what is good and positive about the town and hopefully we'll see more of them in the future. These 'one-stop shop' gatherings can answer so many questions at the same time.
"The Drogheda Implementation Board has played a huge part in unifying many aspects of life in Drogheda and that inspirational attitude must be kept to the forefront in the years to come."
