Ajira Consulting & Coaching Limited

As part of our Membership Spotlight feature we recently spoke to Shashi Sopirala from Ajira Consulting & Coaching Limited about doing business in Drogheda. Read what Shashi had to say.

Q. Tell us about your business and what you do.

At Ajira Consulting & Coaching Limited, we don’t start with solutions—we start with what’s really going on.

Most organisations aren’t struggling because they lack strategy. They’re struggling because of how people think, relate, and make decisions under pressure.

So our work operates across three layers:

• Individuals — building awareness of patterns, triggers, and leadership presence

• Teams — strengthening relationships, trust, and the ability to have real conversations

• Systems — uncovering the hidden dynamics that quietly shape performance

In a world rushing toward AI and constant change, coaching is no longer a support function—it’s an enabler of adaptability.

We help organisations move from performing change… to actually becoming different.

Q. What do you think has been your biggest achievement with the business?

Not growth. Not scale. Not even global clients.

The real achievement is this: People start saying what actually needs to be said. Conversations shift from surface-level alignment to what genuinely needs attention.

Leadership teams stop performing alignment and begin engaging in honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversations. Decisions become clearer. Accountability becomes shared.

And something shifts—quietly, but powerfully.

Because once a system can face itself without defensiveness,

performance stops being forced and starts becoming natural.

That’s not a quick win. That’s transformation.

Q. Tell us one thing people might not know about the business.

Most of our impact happens in what never makes it into a report.

The moment a leader pauses instead of reacting.

The tension in a room finally being named.

The “unspoken” becoming discussable.

These are not soft skills—they are system levers.

Ignore them, and no framework will save you.

Work with them, and change accelerates—often without more process, tools, or noise.

We don’t just work on what’s visible.

We work on what’s driving the visible.

Q. What is the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?

“Don’t confuse movement with progress.”

In today’s environment, there’s pressure to act fast—launch initiatives, adopt new technologies, restructure teams.

But speed without awareness creates elegant failure.

The real discipline is this: Pause. Understand. Then act.

That’s where coaching becomes critical—not as advice, but as a mirror.

Because in complex systems, the quality of results is directly linked to the quality of awareness.

And most organisations don’t have a performance problem—they have an awareness gap.

Best Regards,
