From Friday, July 11th to Sunday, July 13th, the town will once again come alive with rhythm, tradition, and the unforgettable spirit that swept Drogheda during its historic hosting of the Fleadh Cheoil.
Rooted in the cultural pulse of that transformative time, Céilí Picnic aims to ignite the same magic, bringing together local pride, Irish music, and vibrant community spirit under one dazzlingly lit stretch tent in the heart of the town.
This July, visitors from near and far are invited to experience a weekend of powerful performances
and authentic Irish celebration. The event kicks off on Friday, July 11th with the dynamic fusion of traditional and modern Irish sounds by Jiggy, alongside local talent The Cacks.
Saturday turns up the tempo with the legendary Kíla, whose high-octane sets have electrified stages across the globe, sharing the spotlight with Drogheda’s own rising talents, including the genre bending Dabilla.
On Sunday, the weekend comes to a close with a showcase of local acts, bringing the Fleadh spirit full circle with heart, tradition, and community celebration.
