Chambers Ireland Welcomes Approval for More Night Flights at Dublin Airport

Chambers Ireland has welcomed today’s decision by An Coimisiún Pleanála to grant Dublin Airport planning permission to increase night-time flights and better utilise the north runway.

Chief Executive Ian Talbot commented:

“Maintaining and enhancing our connectivity is essential as an island nation. Dublin Airport is a key piece of national infrastructure and today’s announcement will support businesses by making it easier for them to trade.

More flexible flight options will make it easier for indigenous businesses to access key markets. This also supports inward investment by enabling international companies to engage directly with the Irish market.

Tourism is vital to many regions across Ireland and today’s announcement provides a welcome lift to local economies reliant on the sector by making it easier for visitors to come here.”

He added:

“We look forward to further initiatives by Government and its agencies that aim to address critical infrastructure gaps.”
