Drogheda and District Chamber and Barbados are starting to get familiar!

The Chamber and stakeholders enjoyed another great meeting with the team from the Embassy of Barbados and Mr Shane Thomas from Invest Barbados.

The project is about building relationships and trade options around energy, marine, health, food and drink and communications - plus tourism, education and sports - and some promising options are being explored.

It was wonderful to meet up with Michelle Goodwin, Regional Enterprise Manager Mid East, Barbara Walsh, Trade Manager, Irish Exporters Association and Peter McGrane, Regional Scale Up Manager at The Mill, a magnificent team who know the value of networking.

Drogheda, the North East, Mid East and the MI Corridor are prime locations for doing business on the world stage and advancing links with Barbados, the West Indies as a whole, and Latin America is an exciting prospect.

“This is about creating opportunities, not waiting for them to happen,” Chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, stated.

Any company wishing to know more about the opportunities being explored can get in touch with the Chamber for more information.
