There was adrenaline. There was excitement. And yes, there were tears. 🥹 As a cancer survivor, I stood on that beach surrounded by women I’d only just met — and yet I felt completely held, physically and emotionally. 💕
The moment we hit the water, a strange calm washed over me. It was powerful, peaceful… overwhelming in the best way. I can’t fully describe it — but I’ll never forget it. It was raw. It was real. It was magic. ✨

👩🦰 Organisers are calling on women over 18 to take part in this powerful and emotional fundraiser supporting NECRET, helping cancer patients in the Oncology Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda
💗 Every cent raised goes to NECRET (North East Cancer Research and Education Trust) — funding real improvements in the lives of real patients across the region.
