Drogheda teenager, Ruby Collins, is on target to become the next big story in Irish sport.
Ruby (14) is the Irish senior and junior target shooting champion and her latest success has been rewarded with the Fairstone Ireland/Drogheda and District Chamber ‘Sporting Heroes’ award.
Ruby has been involved in the sport for four years and has dominated the Irish scene in recent times.
Her goal is the Junior Olympics and then the real thing!
Based at the Wilkinstown shooting facility, Matt Fox and Geoff Cooney give her great support with Geoff exclaiming that ‘the sky is the limit’ for the 3rd year student at Greenhills.
A sponsor would be great to get Ruby to the next level as she has to compete overseas to take on the top players on the circuit.
