Drogheda and District Chamber is delighted to announce that Naomi Tully of Hubert Tully’s, which specialises in ladies drapery, accessories and household furnishings, based at the M1 Retail Park, is the new President of Drogheda and District Chamber.
Naomi was announced at the 130th AGM of the Chamber on Wednesday, September 18.
She is the fourth generation to be involved in the family business and is eagerly looking forward to her new role.
“I’m a young woman in business and to be given the honour of leading the Chamber at this great time for Drogheda and district is huge for me and my family,” she stated.
Hubert Tully’s was founded exactly 100 years ago and that’s a fact not lost on her.
“My grandad, Hubert, was a well-known local businessman and was deeply involved in the fabric of the town. Maybe I’m following in his footsteps in that regard. I think the Chamber has a huge part to play in the future development of the greater Drogheda area and we have a great team that I’m now delighted to be heading up,” the President added.
Drogheda and District Chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, said Naomi’s appointment showed the huge strides the chamber is making in trying to shape the future direction of the town.
“Naomi is the fourth woman to take the chains since 2000 and will be a huge addition to the council team. She’s an expert business leader and I’m looking forward to working with her over the coming year.”
