Drogheda is aiming to build new links with the American state of New Hampshire following a visit by the state governor and industry representatives.
The event was part of an initiative by The Mill Enterprise Hub to foster relationships with a number of regions in the USA.
The party included Chris T Sununu, State Governor, with Peter Gilbert, James P Gerry, Taylor Caswell, Chase A Hagaman and Andrea Hechevarria, President and CEO, New Hampshire Life Sciences.
“Drogheda and District Chamber was delighted to meet the visiting delegation and it was a very informative discussion. The idea of the M1 Corridor as a location to do business is something that can attract massive interest in the years ahead and we’d see Drogheda at the heart of that,” chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, stated.
“Drogheda is so central and with a highly skilled and motivated workforce, the passion and drive is there to bring big business to this district. We are hoping to further engage with chambers in the United States, as well as the UK, in the coming months.”
