Drogheda and District Chamber is embarking on an exciting journey, collaborating with some top business leaders in India.

A round table meeting at the embassy of India on Strengthening Renewable Energy Cooperation between Ireland and India saw Drogheda and District Chamber present a detailed report on key projects on the M1 Corridor, with two offshore wind programmes, a €1bn world leading sustainably powered enterprise campus at Premier Periclase, detailing links with Lisburn, West and North Yorkshire and Hampshire Chambers, engagement with China, highlighting the likes of chamber members, Hanley Energy, WaterWipes, BD, Tirlan and others, the potential of Bremore Port on the world stage, the advancement of a new IDA Park, the potential is unreal for our chamber members.
Contributions came from a number of speakers, including Mr. Manu Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner, New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Ms. Jasmine Mathew, Vice President, Drogheda & District Chamber; Mr. Prashant Shukla, Chairman, Ireland India Council (IIC. Ms. Ratna Nelapatti (ESB), Mr. Nakul Wali (Enterprise Ireland) Mr. Braj Nandan Singh and Ms. Auindrila Das.
We are now looking at signing MOUs with chamber partners in India to further international relations and open more doors for both our members and those associated with Drogheda Chamber. Defining days ahead for this historic town.
