The event is on Thursday April 25th from 12-2pm in Scotch Hall.
“The objective of the day is to raise awareness and provide attendees with information, advice, and guidance on the digital world, regardless of where they are on their digital journey,” chamber president Hubert Murphy stated.
Various digital companies will come together to share their knowledge, along with a distinguished panel experts who will offer guidelines and help on setting up and developing an online presence.

“We want this event to cover the bases, from SMEs to start ups and scale ups, entrepreneurs, chamber members, web developers and tech companies – in fact, anyone in business in Drogheda. We hope there will be something for everyone,’ the president stated.
Research conducted by Dublin City University across 26 Irish towns in 2023 shows that almost 50% of businesses within a 2km radius of the towns do not have any online presence. The chamber is keen to work with the community to tackle any problems firms may have when it comes to their digital experience.
“As the trusted national registry for over 330,000, domain names, .ie protects Ireland’s unique online identity and empowers people, communities and businesses connected with Ireland to thrive and prosper online. Partnering with Drogheda and District Chamber, we want to unlock the true potential and power of the internet for everyone,” stated Oonagh McCutcheon, National Director, .ie Digital Town Programme.
