KINGSBRIDGE Private Hospital Group and Drogheda and District Chamber are delighted to announce a new ‘Excellence in Healthcare’ awards scheme, designed to recognise those who go above and beyond to help people in their community.

The awards will be inclusive and aim to acknowledge those individuals, groups and organisations that make a difference, from nurses, doctors and receptionists; to cancer care centre workers and volunteers; pharmacy employees, nursing home employees and first responders who save lives daily.
Commenting on their support of this initiative from the Chamber, Mark Regan, Chief Executive of Kingsbridge Healthcare Group said,
“Everyone, at some point in their lives, relies on the dedication, compassion and skill of healthcare professionals and first responders, often at moments that matter most. We are absolutely delighted to partner with Drogheda and District Chamber in launching the new Excellence in Healthcare Awards to help shine a light on those individuals and teams who go above and beyond for their communities every single day. Supporting initiatives that recognise excellence aligns perfectly with our own commitment to delivering outstanding patient care, clinical quality and most importantly, timely access to treatment.”
With state-of-the-art facilities in Belfast, the North West, Sligo and now Newry, Kingsbridge Healthcare Group works with over 650 leading consultants across Ireland providing fast access to consultations and treatment, with online booking, clear waiting times, and consistently high clinical standards.
“Thousands of patients from the Republic of Ireland have been treated at Kingsbridge, drawn by fast access to care, excellent clinical outcomes and the comfort of our single en-suite hospital bedrooms,” continued Mark.
“Whether people are using their private medical insurance like Vhi, availing of the NI Planned Healthcare Scheme or self-funding, our One2One team is with them every step of the way. We’re passionate about providing excellent healthcare right across the island of Ireland, and with our Newry facility only a few miles up the road you’re practically next door! We’re so proud to be part of these awards and look forward to celebrating the commitment to the highest standards delivered by each recipient of the local healthcare community over the coming year.”
Drogheda Chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy said “We’ve met them all at crucial times in our lives and now, thanks to the support of Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group, we can recognise their efforts. How many times have we said, ‘that person deserves an award’ – and now their moment has come!”
“These awards supplement the initiatives we have with other partners to honour those within our community who epitomise the very spirit and essence of what Drogheda and this region is all about.”
The community can also get in contact with Drogheda and District Chamber if they want to nominate people for an Excellence in Healthcare award.
