We are putting together chemo care packs for people going through cancer treatment. These packs are filled with safe, soothing items that help ease the symptoms of chemotherapy—such as bleeding gums,cold sores, and skin sensitivity.
Each pack includes:
· Carefully selected products that are safe for use during treatment
· A handmade card by a local artist (With your name)
· A wee gift like fluffy socks, a candle,or a mini game
· A beautiful drawing from local schoolchildren
· An encouraging note written by youth
· A gorgeous book generously donated by the library for the children’s care packs
These care packs are lovingly assembled by myself and my mum, and distributed to:
The Oncology Unit and Children’s Ward in Lourdes Hospital
The Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre
The Cara Cancer Support Centre
This is a non-profit initiative—every single cent goes directly into creating these care packs.
