Drogheda Chamber Member Spotlight - CREATE108
Q. Tell us about your business and what you do.
My name is Keith Byrne, I’m a Drogheda man born and bred. I grew up in Marian Park and attended St Marys Primary School and Secondary school before going on to study Fine Art In DLIADT qualifying with a Degree in Fine Art in 1999.
Since 2001 I have operated as a solopreneur in the field of Graphic and Web Design. In recent years I have begun to concentrate more on the web design side of things. At local, national and international level I have built highly functioning, mobile responsive, GDPR compliant websites for many business. Through the quality of my work and rapport I have with my clients, I have established a reputation as one of Droghedas longest running and most trusted website designers. My website address is create108.ie
Q. What do you think has been your biggest achievement with the business?
I first begun building websites in the very early days of the internet where, in
many respects, style outweighed function. As this landscape has rapidly changed
over the proceeding 22 years, I pride myself that I have been able to keep pace
with the ever evolving technological and regulatory requirements that have come
to govern premium website construction. As such I am able to now build sites
which are not only aesthetically pleasing but deliver good ROI for my clients.
Q. Tell us one thing people might not know about the business.
Its very people focused.. When you work with me, you only work with me, I don’t
outsource any of the work. In this way I feel like I become a member of my
clients team, giving them all my attention and knowledge to help further their
business interests and goals.
Q. What is the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
People buy from people, always be a people person.
As much as possible I will always meet with potential clients to scope out the project and get a feel for who they are as well as giving them an insight into who I am. For us to work well together we
have to have a good connection, ensuring everyone knows their role and what they need to bring to the table to make the project a success.
