“Drogheda’s future is in its own hands. We have to grasp it.”
New Drogheda and District Chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, says he’s looking forward to engaging with stakeholders across the board in a bid to see the region reach its true potential.
The former editor of the Drogheda Independent and General Manager of Drogheda United FC, feels ‘banging the drum’ for Drogheda will be a key ingredient for the entire chamber team over the next few years. “We must be prepared to work harder than even to deliver for the town and the region. With the huge increase in population over the next decade, now is the time to build the base and make sure we are well placed to meet all the demands we are going to face.
“As a chamber, we intend going out there and making sure everyone knows the potential of this town and the entire district,” he stated.
“Thinking and working outside the box will be a key part of what we must do. It’s a changing world, but there are huge opportunities out there. Drogheda’s future is in its own hands. We have to grasp it.” Hubert Murphy
