Drogheda Chamber Spotlight - We spoke with Keava and Gaia from The Inner Works Factory.
· Where did the idea come from?
Keava and Gaia share a strong passion for enabling human beings to thrive. Having worked together in IBM they saw first-hand the impact that getting the people factor right has when it comes to business success.
The Inner Works Factory concept was born from their observations and experiences in different areas of the corporate ecosystem, resulting in the acknowledgement that the inner workings of an organisation are in fact a mirror of the inner workings of the individuals leading it.
As a company they help clients to do better what they already do well through the talent that they have invested in. They do this by deep diving into how the organisation works and how people are aligned to its culture and vision.
The difference between success and failure is often not the result of the perfect process or sometimes even a great product. The biggest factor is still the human one. It is people’s ability to identify with a culture, take personal responsibility for results ,feel they can be their best selves in their professional lives and take change in their stride that makes the greatest difference.
Keava and Gaia’s mission is to help businesses to thrive by embracing brave leadership that quickly adapts to change and makes your business more profitable..
If you see yourself as a leader, The InnerWorks Factory can help you inspire your people to bring their best selves to work and help your company rise to meet new challenges. If you are leading yourself towards realising your dreams, The Inner Works Factory is here to provide you with the tools to help you grow.
· What do you think has been your biggest achievement with the business?
Having set up a business in the midst of a pandemic, I think the biggest achievement has been building a solid base of clients. The one we are proudest of was being invited to participate as mentors in the “We Build Experience” virtual hackathon. It was set up to help a group of small Sicilian businesses in the agri/food sector to redefine their strategy and help them thrive through and past the pandemic. We loved being able to combine our skills and experience in change management with design thinking ,group coaching and mentoring.
· What’s next for the business in Drogheda?
We are very excited about the second half of 2021 as we are going to launch our suite of live-virtual learning experiences in September.
We are focusing on addressing the needs of small/medium organisations to provide ongoing development to their leaders, managers and supervisors. We want to make sure we give people the opportunity to get a very individual learning experience that focuses not only on the theory of leading a group of people but builds up on the innate emotional intelligence that each individual already has .
Additionally we will launch “The Inner Mastery Experience”, a programme designed to provide a highly experiential journey towards mastery of the self. We have all been highly challenged through Covid to become more resilient and find ways to overcome unforeseen circumstances. On this course we will explore with participants how to create self-awareness, build mental strength, increase resilience and develop personal growth strategies through a series of 5 live sessions, complemented by a coaching programme and access to the renowned EQ-I 2.0 personal assessment and live community.
The other big project in our pipeline is to bring to Ireland “Aequacy”, a very innovative horizontal organizational model.
We are going to get licensed in 2022 .We love the unique disruptive quality this model brings. By lowering your organisation centre of gravity everyone feels more empowered and invested in its success.
We are dedicated to provide the best service we can to our clients, we continuously invest in our own skills. We are currently getting accredited with the International Coaching Federation and EMCC and are training in the area of Conversational Intelligence and Psychology as it applies to organisations.
· Tell us one thing people might not know about the business.
We believe in the power of collaboration, for that reason we have built a wide network of associates across Europe.
We are continuously engaging in new relationships in order to augment the breath of skills we can bring to our clients. Right now our associates have skills ranging from HR onboarding and performance management to nutrition for performance to tax optimisation.
· What is the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
Look after the people around you and they will look after your business.
